MEET THE PATRONS
The Doctor and lead singer (Clive Jackson, born 7 July 1961 in Knotty Ash, Liverpool), a former London-based DJ, formed the group in 1981 with guitarist Steve McGuire, Doctor and the Medics is a British glam rock band formed in London in 1981. The group was most successful during the 1980s and is best known for their cover of
"Spirit in the Sky" which reached No. 1 in the UK Singles Chart. The band currently performs with a newer and established line-up. As well as previously being classed a tribute act to various artists,
The Doc(Clive Jackson, was approached on Saturday !3th November 2021 to become Patron of
UK Homes 4 Heroes Pride & Passion
and the charity is grateful that Clive said yes,
last year he done the Tab for the Fallen at the rear of he's garden that backs on to the Brecon Beacons and did the full 11 mile tab in aid of UKH4H.
This year he completed the tab again from the National Memorial Arboretum in Stafford
and finished at the war memorial

JAKE WOODS
Jake who plays Max Branning in the BBC long-running series Eastenders, is one of the lead actors in this soap. Jake is passionate about the charity and does what he can, when he can.

In the summer, he lit up an event that was staged for the charity. The public really love this man and Jake helped the charity raise £3.500 on the day. A top man who is one of your own.
ANDREW WAITE
Andrew is a consultant in environmental law and works with the real estate, planning, corporate, energy, resources and infrastructure groups within a leading international law firm.
MADDIE DUGGAN
Maddie is our youngest patron. For a tiny girl, Maddie has the biggest heart. She is a credit to all the teenagers out there. Along with her Mum & Dad, Jo & Tony, they attend all function and events that are laid on for the charity.
Since leaving Eastenders, she is going strength to strength in her acting career. Good luck to our Bermondsey star!

GARY LANGRON
Gary owns Winklebury Cycles in Basingstoke. He is a real gent with a heart of gold. In the summer the lads from the Irish guards and the UKH4H committee did a sponsored bike ride from Paris to London and raised £3.500.
For the charity, Gary supplied everything that the riders needed, top of the range mountain bikes, helmets and even cream for the nether regions! Recently he donated a mountain bike for the raffle and supplied the buffet, for the fundraising event in Old Basing, Royal British Legion club. What a star!
BARRY ALBIN OBE
Barry, through his company F.A Albin & Sons, repatriated all our fallen heroes from the Armed services. Find out more on our 'Friends' page.
It is with great sadness that Barry passed away in 2015, but his legacy will always be appreciated.

Meet sniffer dog Jamie - our four- legged patron! Also Jamie is the official Pearly King of UKH4H! Jamie fought the Taliban for almost three years, nearly triple the time of the his longest-serving human comrades! He's the longest-serving British Army member in Afghanistan - and all he asks is a bowl of food a day and a soggy old tennis ball!
